This is my first ever cruiser, and as I pulled away from the dealer's shop my legs were flapping about in the air trying to locate the footpegs and the gear lever! I soon got used to it though. The extras I had fitted were the Givi sissy bar and rack, and the large crashbars, both supplied and fitted by the dealer, Phil's Motorcycle Mall.

The bike is a parallel import from Belgium, which has two advantages. First it's a much nicer colour scheme in two-tone red, which is not available as a standard UK spec bike, and second it also saved me some money! The dealer fitted a speedo conversion so that, for example, when the needle is over 50 the bike is doing 50mph rather than 50kph, and a MPH sticker is stuck on the glass above where it reads KPH on the speedo. This also means that the odometer and trip meter read miles rather than kilometres.

This next photo was taken with my sister's camera using that old-fashioned film stuff :-). It was taken at Corfe, with Corfe Castle in the background, on a sunny Sunday in January (a rare occurrence!). I've now fitted a windshield.
Now back to my trusty digital camera for some close-ups of the engine.
These photos were taken in the New Forest near Beaulieu (in February).
